In anticipation of your course, you will be requested to undertake some self-study prior to your initial classroom session. This self-study, whether in the form of a manual with knowledge reviews or e-learning, will set the groundwork for your learning experience. Regardless of the chosen method, a theory lesson will be conducted, marking the commencement of your training journey.
Theory, class, and equipment sessions are always conducted before advancing to any confined or open water training. Throughout the entire process, you will consistently be trained to the highest possible standards. This commitment remains unwavering, irrespective of the duration required for completion. Emphasising the importance of thorough preparation, we ensure that theory and practical aspects are covered comprehensively to instill confidence and competency.

Padi Sidemount Diver
Duration: 2 days
Maximum Depth: not applicable
Minimum age: 15 years
Equipment: sidemount equipment included
Program: 1 confined dive and 3 open water dives
A sidemount configuration (scuba tanks alongside of the diver) offers more flexibility, better streamlining options and less backproblems. Just enter the water, clip your cylinders on and go!
To enroll in the PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty course, you must be at least 15 years old and be a PADI Open Water Diver.
During your dives, a lot of attention will be put into your trim, buoyancy control and finning techniques.

As a scuba diver you are certified to dive, when accompanied with a Padi professional, to a maximum depth of 12m. The upgrade teaches students how to become a more independent diver. In just 2 days you can upgrade to a Padi open water certification, allowing you to dive to 18 meters, anywhere in the world. All you need to complete is the final 2 theory sessions, 2 skill sessions in shallow water and 2 open water dives.

PADI Open Water Referral

Program: 4 open water dives from our comfortable rib
The Padi open water referral course lets you complete all of the theory modules and the Scuba skills training sessions at home, with a Padi instructor of your choice. All you have to do then, is complete the 4 open water dives in the crystal and clear waters of Sicily. You should bring a printed referral form, which proofs, that you completed all required theory sessions and skill sessions in confined water. After only 2 days diving in the magical underwaterworld; with your Padi instructor, you could easily be a qualified open water diver. You are now ready for some serious diving, up to 18 meters. Chances are that you are going to spend the rest of your holiday diving !
