The TDI Helitrox Diver Course gives you the tools to carry out staged decompression dives utilising helium in the breathing mixture to reduce the effects of inert gas narcosis.
- This course has all the benefits of the Decompression Procedures course (staged decompression, equipment set-up, decompression techniques and breathing gasses, gas management, contingency planning and problem solving procedures over 4 dives to a maximum operating depth (MOD of 45m) but allows the use of helium mixes up to a maximum of 35%. Making this course ideal for anyone who suffers from nitrogen narcosis. Duration: 2-3 Days
- Minimum age 18
- Minimum Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) or TDI Intro-to-Tech and TDI Advanced Nitrox (or equivalent).
- Provide proof of 50 logged open water dives
